Merida Showcase

Merida is a compact Jekyll theme for people who want a fast personal site without giving up the details that make long-form technical content pleasant to read. This showcase uses generic content so you can see how the theme handles an about page, posts, news, project lists, publications, MathJax, syntax highlighting, search, and dark mode.

The layout is designed for a researcher, engineer, writer, or small technical team. The right-side profile image is optional, latest posts and latest news can be enabled per page, and navigation is driven from YAML data files.

Use this demo as a quick tour:

  • Browse Projects to see grouped repository cards and contribution links.
  • Open Publications to see BibTeX-driven entries.
  • Read the Blog for Markdown, math, tables, code blocks, and post covers.
  • Try the search button in the navigation bar after the site has been built.

The content is intentionally simple. Replace these Markdown files and YAML entries with your own work, then keep the same structure for a polished static website.
